Volunteers with Caring Coins
Volunteers of all ages enjoy each others' company as they assemble the Caring Coins with raffia ribbon and Me to You Cards. One senior said "…As a cancer survivor, I really appreciate what the Caring Coin has meant to me. It makes me feel good that I can be doing something for someone else and have fun while I'm doing it."


500 Caring Coins went to Tanzania with a volunteer from a Vermont Hospice
500 Caring Coins went to Tanzania with a volunteer from a Vermont Hospice. The volunteer writes "…Heads bent with trust, the children received their coin necklaces and ran off to return moments later with more friends. Each stepped forward to receive their necklace of hope, and a familiar Swahili blessing "Ubarikiwe". The coins create an opportunity for genuine contact. They are a visual and tactile reminder that someone cares enough to step forward and share a simple token of love."

  • American Holistic Nurses Association, Mt Washington, NH
  • Hospice and Palliative Care Council Annual Conference at Lake Morey, Vermont
  • Mesothelioma Symposium in Washington D.C.
  • End of Year Programs at local schools and churches
  • Local Kiwanis Clubs and Granges
