That’s right...The Good News Show!
It seems that everywhere we turn; we hear and read gloom and doom. This is a very challenging time, there’s no doubt about that... But there are a lot of good things happening too. Challenging times can bring us together. They give us an opportunity to reach out to each other. And that is what is happening. There are lots of caring people who are doing really caring acts of kindness for each other. We need to hear about them.
This Good News can be a story about a good neighbor like Joe the furnace man, who went out in the middle of the night to help a neighbor who had no heat or it can be a community event like the Wounded Warriors Weekend or the 30 Hr Famine for world hunger. It can be about groups like Heartworks, a group of women who do acts of kindness for people in need. It can even be a story like Gracie’s story, a little goat, who has inspired people of all ages.
We want the Good News Show to be a vehicle for gathering and sharing positive stories from around our community, state, country and even the world. Together, we will show that good news is not in short supply; only the advertising of it is.
Everyone is invited to join in Sharing Your Good News simply by emailing their Good News. Each guest and everyone who sends in their Good News will have their name written on a Caring Coin that is placed on our Caring Tree. Their names will also be put on the Stream of Caring which runs at the end of the show.
One thing is sure: We are going to have fun!
